Terrance Phillip Quinn

It is with great sadness that the family of Terrance “Terry” Phillip Quinn announce his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on November 9, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Terry was born on December 17, 1952 in Gander, Newfoundland, to Richard and Elsie (Coish) Quinn.

A proud DND employee for 33 years, Terry was known to his friends and coworkers for his humour and funny remarks. They will truly miss his presence.

In addition to his loving wife and best friend, Colleen, Terry is survived by his four daughters, Kathy (Darren), Stephanie (Kevin), Allison (Wayne), and Kristen (Loren); Colleen’s three children who loved him like a father, Shane (Erica), Jenel (William), and Derek (Tannecia); mother-in-law, Marjorie Howe (late Milford), and his five grandchildren. Also mourning his passing are his brother Richard, (Doreen); sisters, Gert (Terry), Sheila, and Denise (Brian); beloved brothers-in-law, Terry (Deborah), and Ross (Monique), as well as his five beloved dogs.

He is predeceased by his mother, Elsie; father, Richard; father-in-law, Milford Howe, as well as his first dog, Charlie.

Terry was a regular guest of the Kingsclear dances and other musical jam sessions which he attended with his wife and mother-in-law, which gave Terry great joy and a love for music.

In keeping with Terry’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Oromocto SPCA, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
