Jody Coralee Grimm

It is with sadness that the family announce the passing of Jody Coralee Grimm on February 12, 2022 at Hospice House Fredericton after her courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 14, 1968, she was the daughter of Jim and Myra (Noble) Kay

Jody will be missed by her husband, Hans; sons Trae Clement (Lisa) and Shane Mills; granddaughter Abby; sisters Sheila (Dave), Cindy (Ronnie), Karen (Eric), and Michelle (Darrell); brothers Freeman (Maxine), Tony (Tina), and Sam (Sharon); special niece MacKenzie, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jody loved working at Scott’s Nursery. For many years, she planted saplings and seedlings before retiring. Her love of all things outdoors, especially the sunshine, was well known to her family. To say she adored the Boston Bruins would be putting it lightly; she was their biggest fan and loved to cheer them on.

The family wishes to say thank you to all the people who helped care for Jody during her illness: the Oncology Unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Extra Mural, and an extra special thanks to the nurses and staff at Hospice House Fredericton for their superb care.

In accordance with Jody’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Modern Celebrations & Cremations. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Hospice House Fredericton would be appreciated by the family.
